On 23/11/2024, Lt.Dr.Vinod Meena serving as Professor in L.D. Arts College and as Lt. in NCC, has been conferred with Best Commendation Card Award 2024 by Ministry of Defence, Government of India (New Delhi). He has been selected for this award for his commendable performance in NCC. The award includes a cash prize of Rs. 2,500.00, Commendation Medal and Certificate.
On receiving this news, the entire L.D. Arts College family, their NCC Cadets and the NCC headquarters at Law Garden, Ahmedabad were in a state of jubilation. Lt.Dr.Vinod Meena is the only NCC officer from Gujarat to have been selected at the national level which is a matter of pride for Gujarat as well.
