L. D. Arts College, Ahmedabad, was honoured to host an inspection visit by Colonel Vishal Sharma, 1 Gujarat Girls Battalion NCC, on 6 August 2026. The inspection programme was conducted under the guidance of Capt. A Vyasan Mukti Drawing Competition was organised at L. D. Arts College on 18 July. The competition was held to spread awareness about the harmful effects of addiction. The topic of the competition was “Vyasan Vinashnu Mul Chhe” (વ્યસન વિનાશનું મૂળ છે). Students actively participated in the competition and expressed their thoughts and creativity through their drawings. On 26 July 2026, a volunteering activity was organised by Narayan Seva Sansthan at Atal Kalam Hall, Ahmedabad University. Three students from L. D. Arts College actively participated in the event as volunteers. The students reached the venue at 8:00 a.m. and helped people with disabilities, assisting them throughout the event. Narayan Seva Sansthan works for the welfare of people with disabilities by providing artificial hands and legs and helping them become independent and perform their daily activities again. Tree Plantation Day was celebrated at L. D. Arts College on 14 July with great enthusiasm and joy. The programme began with a rally in which students and respected professors of the college actively participated, spreading awareness about the importance of trees and protecting the environment. The students of L. D. Arts College, Ahmedabad actively participated in the Mega Tree Plantation Programme held on 12 July 2026 at Bhadaj, near Science City, Ahmedabad. The programme was organised as part of a large-scale government-supported plantation campaign aimed at increasing the green cover of Ahmedabad. On the day of the event, a government bus arrived at the college to take the participating students to the plantation site. More than 35 NSS volunteers participated in the visit under the guidance of Programme Officer Dr. N. P. Verma.
